I watched last night the opening ceremony of the London Olympics 2012. I did not noticed that it was already 2:00 in the morning, when it was over. I felt so tired after that long night of watching it.
It was so far the first Olympic event that I watched the whole ceremony from start to end. I find it very interesting especially that famous personalities like Daniel Craig- the James Bond 007, Queen Elizabeth of England, Mr. Bean and many others participated during the opening. Here are some of the snapshots I took from the television. Not really good ones but I only want it for my own personal remembrance that I watched it.

First of all, I want to thank my donors and sponsors for this trip. I am just kidding peeps. It is actually my sister who paid for my plane ticket to the United States of America. Since last month, I was already browsing for cheap flights from Europe to Las Vegas. I just cannot book it because I am waiting for the some things. Since everything went fine including the visa of my sister and other plans for her, I already decided to book the flight. The Payment processing went successful last night. So far, it was the cheapest flight I can find online from Munich Franz Strauss International Airport to Las Vegas MC Carran International airport.
I also bought a travel insurance amounting to $49.75 which made the flight with a total of $1,044.75. This time I will be boarding Lufthansa for the second time. See you soon USA in four weeks!

The day has finally come! The biggest sport event in history has just begun. Today July 27, 2012 marks the beginning of the 2012 Olympics in London, UK.
Before that, I would like to thank everyone especially my friends in facebook for supporting my entry in Samsung Global Blogger to the London Olympics 2012. I did not made it to the winners but I was happy and contented with the result. Being in the finalists was already an achievement for me. Besides I was sick for a week and preparing for Olympics might be a stressful one for me. I glad that I am feeling very very better now.
Even I did not made as Samsung Global Blogger, I am still happy because I was in Spain particularly in Barcelona and Zurich, Switzerland lately. Another thing, I was already in England for three weeks last 2008. I am happy to all those who made it to London. Congratulations to all of you.
One last thing and really a good news, I am heading to the United States of America in four weeks from now. I need to prepare for my trip to this country and hope to visit more states when I will be there.
I am just sharing one of the snapshots I took when I was in England last autumn 2008. Here it is!,
The Big Ben adjacent to the Parliament building. You can also see the London eye partly. I was in England for 3 weeks in 2008. I still want to go back there when time and money are available.
Finally, GOOD LUCK TO ALL PARTICIPANTS OF THE LONDON OLYMPICS 2012. YOU ARE ALL GREAT!

The summer fever sale in Germany is still going on! This is the best time of the year to go shopping especially for those who love to buy items on sale. Since last month of June, I already see a lot of shops who are offering discount prices on their store display. I even enjoyed shopping with up to 70 percent discount this week in Nuremberg, Germany.

If you are visiting Germany and want to avail of cheap prices on men’s and ladies clothing and accessories, shoes, bags and many more, don’t miss to visit you favorite stores. For sure, you will save a lot of money when shopping during summer sale in Germany. Have fun!

I was so happy after fulfilling again another travel wishlist. I finally visited Barcelona, the capital city of Catalonia in Spain. After visiting Spain twice and went to the different cities in Andalusia region including Seville, Granada and Cordoba plus the capital city of Madrid and some more other places in Spain, I promised myself to visit Barcelona. That dream just came true. I just love this city. Spain is one of my favorite travel destinations in Europe.
There are a lot of sights to see in this city. A day visit is not enough but still I was happy with what I have seen in Barcelona. I wish to visit it again and would like to stay there for some days and maybe a week or two. I still don’t know when it will happen but I have a feeling that I can visit it once again.
More travel stories and updates to come very soon. Let me just share for now some of the snapshots I took from Barcelona! I love you Barca and hope to see you again!

View of Barcelona from the Park Güell. You can also see the two houses in the entrance of the park. This was taken during our visit last July 14, 2012.

- This is the Plaça d’Espanya as called in Catalan or Plaza de España in Spanish. It is one of Barcelona’s most important squares, built on the occasion of the 1929 International Exhibition, held at the foot of Montjuïc, in the Sants-Montjuïc district.
