Finally Visited Barcelona, Spain

I was so happy after fulfilling again another travel wishlist. I finally visited Barcelona, the capital city of Catalonia in Spain. After visiting Spain twice and went to the different cities in Andalusia region including Seville, Granada and Cordoba plus the capital city of Madrid and some more other places in Spain, I promised myself to visit Barcelona. That dream just came true. I just love this city.   Spain is one of  my favorite travel destinations  in Europe.

There are a lot of sights to see in this city. A day visit is not enough but still I was happy with what I have seen in Barcelona. I wish to visit it again and would like to stay there for some days and maybe a week or two. I still don’t know when it will happen but I have a feeling that I can visit it once again.

More travel stories and updates to come very soon. Let me just share for now some of the snapshots I took from Barcelona! I love you Barca and hope to see you again!

View of Barcelona from the Park Güell. You can also see the two houses in the entrance of the park. This was taken during our visit last July 14, 2012.

This is the Plaça d’Espanya as called in Catalan or Plaza de España in Spanish. It is one of Barcelona’s most important squares, built on the occasion of the 1929 International Exhibition, held at the foot of Montjuïc, in the Sants-Montjuïc district.
