It is time to go shopping again. Winter sale is everywhere in Europe. This is one of the best time of the year to go shopping. Yesterday, as we went shopping, my friend was very lucky to find a very cheap winter boots. Imagine it cost 150.00 Euros and she bought it for 19.00 Euros. What a super-saving buy. That is almost 90 percent cheaper. Items like shoes, Christmas decors, winter clothes, jewellery, watches, books, perfumes, almost everything are just on sale now.

I have a special wish for this year’s winter sale. I want to have one or two of these top 3 jewellery on my winter sale shopping list.

Swarovski are very famous for their enchanting Crystals. I have known this company for some years now. I am always fascinated with their Crystals. One of my friends is collecting their beautiful Crystals. The first time I bought a Swarovski jewellery was sometimes in 2005 and I am quite happy with it.

Swarovski have quite a very innovative technology making their products always on top of fashion, design and architecture with impressing qualities of Crystal. Their jewellery are simply luxurious and fashionable.

Swatch products are widely known all over the world. That is also the reason why I went to the the place where these world-famous watches are made. It was an interesting trip we had in Zurich, Switzerland last December 2010.

Swatch s products are simply gorgeous. You can find beautifully designed watches and jewellery in Stainless Steel combined with materials like Enamels and sparkling Crystals, and yes, I love especially the colourful and uniquely shaped Bijoux collections.

Last but not the least on my list are the fabulous collections of a famous Parisian designer Nina Ricci. Since its conception in the 1930’s, its business continue to grow until these days. Nina Ricci has lauched world-famous perfume and adding to its pruducts are its elegant and fashionable jewellery collections from Sterling Silver to Semi-Precious stones.

Another year is finally here! I also hope that your first weekend of 2011 went all fine. I had a wonderful one and I am thankful about it. I also hope that your 2010 was a good one. I am very grateful for the year 2010. There were a lot of good things and happenings that happened during the past year in my life and I would say it was a great year for me. There might be some trials and problems along the way but we were able to handle everything. As the saying goes, “God won’t give us crosses that we cannot carry”, are the very inspiring words which helped me conquered all the adversities in life.

I can only say, thank you so much Lord for all the wonderful things and all the blessings and graces you had showered unto me and my family all those years. I always hope and pray that this year will be another successful year for all of us…a year full of blessings, enthusiasm, peace, love and happiness. Please give us O Lord, good health always and all the strenght and determination to face whatever trials and problems we might encounter along the way. Lastly, thank you dear Lord for the gift of life and the gifts of family and friends. These are truly the most valuable and priceless gifts you had given unto us.

I can’t wait to see these tulips again in our garden. Three months more to go! a wonder how these flowers always keep on coming back every year!

I am making a countdown before New Year 2011 comes. Two more nights and the second decade of the 21st century will be starting soon. Time truly passes-by so fast. I can’t wait for more travels in 2011. Of course, when finances are available.

One of the cities that I wish to visit again is Venice, Italy. First of all, I forgot to buy Venetian Masks as gifts to some friends. Second, I want to visit it again to witness the famous Carnival in Venice. I had been to this city twice but it was not during carnival season.

The Carnevale di Venezia, called in English as Carnival of Venice is an annual festival, held in Venice, Italy. The Carnival starts around two weeks before Ash Wednesday and ends on Shrove Tuesday (Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras), the day before Ash Wednesday. Participants during the carnival here are wearing masks especially Full Face Masks. It is considered to be one of the highlights during the festival. The so-called moretta and the volto or larva are the most common masks that are worn by people participating the carnival.

I believed that this city is worthy to visit again especially that I have a better camera now that take better pictures. I hope to materialize this trip on March 2011.

Sometimes it is nice to reminisce some things that happened in our lives. It might be our travel, a friend’s birthday party, a family get-together or maybe a walk with a friend or our loveones and other events which we remember because of the photographs we took. Thanks to the modern technology of digital photography!

I was browsing awhile ago some travel snapshots in my files. I found some images I took from Stratford Upon Avon in Warwickshire, England. I had been to this town last November 2008 with a friend. It is not too far from England’s second largest city, Birmingham.

I felt honored as I visited this place because it is the birthplace of the famous playwright and poet William Shakespeare. Isn’t it amazing to visit historical places like this?

It is almost midnight again. I should be sleeping right now but wish to finish this post to share about my travel wishlist 2011 to England. This afternoon, I received a call from a friend and we were talking about vacation. She already planned to take a vacation in the Philippines next year. She wants to see more places in this country and is currently looking for holiday lets for her to stay. Comprising of around 7,107 islands, a three weeks vacation in the Philippines is not enough to see everything. At least, she already planned for her vacation. I am happy for her.

I also have some plans for next year. In fact, a lot of plans and I will be happy and contented if most of these will be materialized. Just last week, we received again another travel catalogue for next year. There are a lot of interesting places to see especially in Europe. One of my travel wishlist include England again. I had been to this country last 2007 but then, a three weeks holiday is still not enough to see all. This time, I wish to visit Cornwall and want to stay in one of the Cornwall cottages especially near the beach. Cornwall is well-known for its beaches and rugged coastline which reminds me back home.

The Victoria Memorial was created by sculptor Sir Thomas Brock in 1911 and erected in front of the main gates at Buckingham Palace on a surround constructed by architect Sir Aston Webb. This was taken during my visit in England last 2007.

I read somewhere that Cornwall is one of the poorest areas in the United Kingdom and its economy depends heavily on tourism. This place is also full of history back to the Roman and post Roman periods. Since it has also a lot of interesting sights to visit, I guess seeing this place is quite an interesting experience. Cornwall’s north coast is also known as a centre for surfing. Lastly, if this travel wishlist of mine will be materialized, I will for sure try to taste its local delicacies which include seafood of any kinds, pasties (delicious dish made with pastry) or maybe try the Cornish fudge or ice cream. What else can you recommend?
