Another week is here! I believed this will be another busy week for me. I can’t imagine when I am working full time and there are a lot of things to do  at home  plus my online sideline.  Life is never boring for me when I am at home. There are just a lot of things to do.

This morning, I called a Balikbayan Box company. I want to send a balikbayan box to the Philippines this month. I am looking for a new service provider because I already had some  unhappy experiences with the previous one. I guess the owner is  good but I believed  the  management is not so good. Or maybe the employees are not train  with regards to providing  good customer service to their clients.

I called this new Balikbayan box  company and talked to Alice. She said that  they are picking up boxes in some European countries and  in particular,   in the Bavarian region of Germany. She is   friendly and  the way she talk,  you can say that  she knows what customer service is.

And so the conversation goes and she told me that they will pick-up  my  box on Monday. I need to finish packing my Balikbayan box before weekend comes. I know for sure, I have a lot of things to do this week.

Thanks God Its Friday! Today was a  fantastic day! It is because I was so busy doing a lot of things at home. I am happy to slowly organize some things.  The chores are still not done. At the moment, I am already doing my second laundry. I just want to finish it before weekend comes.

While organizing, I  found some things including the best cigar lighter I can find in the house.  Nobody smokes inside our house and hubby is not smoking as well. When I ask him where did he got the lighter, he told me that he found it near his workplace.  I guess the owner  lost it on his way somewhere.

I am happy to accomplished  somethings today. I just don’t sit down the whole day but always find a lot of things to make me busy. I hope you had or are having a nice Friday too!

It is an honor for me to visit one of the most famous and finest museums in Europe and in the whole world as well. Yes, I had the chance to go inside Prado Museum during my second  visit in Madrid last March 2012.   I believed you all know that Madrid is the capital city of  Spain.

The weather was not so called last mid-March 2012 in this city. Everyday I walk around  to the different direction in this city. One day I decided to go inside  Prado Museum. I did that because our tour guide during our holiday in Spain  last December 2011 told us that if we have the chance to go inside, we must take it.

Prado Museum,  known as Museo del Prado in Spanish  features one of the world’s finest collections of European art, from the 12th century to the early 19th century, based on the former Spanish Royal Collection. It is unquestionably the best single collection of Spanish art.  El Prado is one of the most visited sites in the world.  It is considered to be among the greatest museums of art.

The Prado Museum contains works  of the famous painters such as Diego Velázquez, Titian, Peter Paul Rubens,Francisco de Goya and Hieronymus Bosch. Their paintings are among the highlights of the collections.

Sad to say, it is not allowed to take photos inside the premises. I am just sharing a snapshot taken from outside the museum.

Happy New Year and Happy Three Kings everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend. So far, my first weekend of the year is fantastic. I was invited by a friend to go with her to the parties yesterday and today. It was great!

Back to the main topic! I am happy with our new bed. It might not be the best and most expensive bed but it is better that our old one. We actually bought it last October but only put-up last November 2012. Our mattress is also new. One day before new year 2013, I also used new bedding for it. My next project would be new velvet throw pillows for our living room.

I always feel comfortable sleeping on our new bed. It is a nice feeling when you have a good sleep during the night. When you wake-up in the morning, you always feel fresh and relax.

So far, everything is doing good for me at the moment. I can’t complain about anything. A challenge happened last New Year’s day when my father was confined at the hospital. Thanks God that he is out now from that place.
