We are in the first week of August now! and what’s our weather today? rain, sunshine, raindrops, sunshine! It is not so hot right now because of the rainy day we have. The plants and flowers in our garden are smiling again. Here are some red roses and yellow pansies or violas fresh from our garden. I wish you all a great week and a wonderful month of August!

Some people I met here in Europe are asking me if I come from Thailand. I am always mistaken as Thai lady but I’m not. I believed I know why because Thailand is very famous to European people especially for its beautiful white beaches. If I visit this country, I would love to stay in Patong Beach Lodge. It is known as a popular tourist destination especially among families and couples. In fact, it is the main tourist resort in Phuket, Thailand. Patong beach is also famous for its nightlife. I believed, it is good to spend a memorable vacation here and to enjoy and have fun as well.

I searched a while ago a per room rate in Patong Beach Lodge from October 3 to 10, 2010. I converted 810 Thailand Baht to Euros. It is very affordable for around 19 Euros a day for two persons. In short, it is very cheap! I need to inform hubby about it.

August is finally here! I hope you are having a good start of the month. I believed I am. You know why? because I had my favorite German food called Schweinebraten during lunch time. Just kidding folks! Actually, it’s been a month now since I did not cook this food. Sometimes I am just craving for it.

Anyway, have you been to Birmingham? I have here an image of the Birmingham City Council House in Birmingham, England. It is located in Victoria Square in the city center. It provides office accommodation for both employed council officers, including the Chief Executive, and elected council members, plus the council chamber, Lord Mayor’s Suite, committee rooms and a large and ornate banqueting suite, complete with minstrels’ gallery.

Summer is still here in Europe! During this hot season, it is time to cool down and spend a vacation at the beach.Don’t you know that there are a lot of nice beaches in Asia especially in Phuket, Thailand? It seems that another day is almost coming soon. Today is also the last day of July. I hope you all you had a great one during this month. We are doing good so far. My computer is working weird again since yesterday. Actually, I just opened it around 9:00 PM last night but I don’t know what happened that I could not open any website. I might share the rest of the he rest of the story in my other blog.
