Hey folks! How is it going? I am doing great so far. I hope you too! I will be talking about Wednesday etcetera tonight. It means that I will be sharing the things I did today. I was happy after somebody knocked at our door this morning. It was the Postlady not a Postman. The stuffs that we ordered last week finally came. Some new clothes, hubby’s new sweatshirts, mousepad and most of all my new notebook PC. I love it but there is still one problem that I encountered when running it. I am not talking about the side effects of extenze here but about the problem that appeared on the PC screen while I was installing my anti-virus. I will share more details tomorrow.

I also did some grocery shopping and ended buying some stuffs again like new beddings, winter sleeper, cutlery set and some other more. These are not in my list but well, I believed we need it. I also went to the drug store to buy some medicine. I also went to the bank and paid in full the amount that I used in my new credit card during my Europe tour last August. I did some cooking too. What else? There are still a lot that I did today but will probably share it next time again. Goodnight folks!

Have you been to Munich? If yes, did you visit Hofbräuhaus? If not, I would suggest that you visit this historical place when you have the chance to visit Munich. Hofbräuhaus commonly known in German as The Staatliches Hofbräuhaus in München or Hofbräu München is a state court brewery in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

It is also known for its Nazi history because this is one of the beer halls where the Nazi Party hold its meetings and functions. Hofbräuhaus also owned the second largest tent called Hofbräu-Festzelt in the famous Oktoberfest. Now, Hofbräuhaus can be seen in different parts of the world like Las Vegas in Nevada, Genoa in Italy, Miami Beach in Florida and some other more. It can also be found in Regensburg, a city in Bavaria, Germany.

I have been to this place twice already and had a lunch here last 2009 with hubby and the latest was in August 2010 with a friend from the U.S. . It is a nice feeling to see and experience historical places like this.

It is such a nice experience seeing places from time to time. I am happy to finally visit Luxembourg last month. It is a landlocked country in Western Europe boarded by Germany, France and Belgium. I am very thankful that I never had a travel emergency since I visited some countries in Europe.

You can find in my image here the famous bridge in Luxembourg, the Pont Adolphe (Adolphe Bridge). It was built between 1900 and 1903 and was planned by architect Paul Sejourne. You can also see in the foreground the beautiful garden of Luxembourg. You can witness this view if you stand near the Monument du Souvenir. More images to come in my Europe Travel blog.

Are you familiar with Dinant? It is not a name of a person or thing but a name of a beautiful municipality located on the River Meuse in the Belgian province of Namur, Belgium. It is one of the places where we stopped-by during our trip to Luxembourg last August 2010.

I have an experience from Dinant to share here which is related to the image below. This souvenir shop was the store where I bought some souvenirs . I did not noticed that it is already time to go back to the bus heading to Luxembourg. I was busy shopping for souvenirs and was the reason why I was late in going back . I am quite ashamed for that because the other tourists in the bus were all looking for me. lol!

The lesson I learned; always go earlier back earlier to avoid delay..

Festive food and drink are offered alongside decorations, jewelry, toys and crafts in such abundance that it could take the whole evening to see even half of the wonderful items offered in this truly original Christmas Market.

4. Basel Christmas Market

At the center of Europe’s most enchanting Christmas region is Basel. Each year the city of Rhine out does itself in the scope of its market. Old town is transformed into a winter wonderland, boasting the longest illuminated Christmas street in Europe. More than a hundred pine trees border the street and are strung with twinkling lights to guide visitors to the stalls and chalets of working craftsmen.

5. Canterbury’s Traditional Christmas Market

While strolling through Canterbury’s Market you can enjoy a glass of German mulled wine and listen to the traditional Christmas music. Make sure to take a moment to enjoy the gingerbread hearts and roasted almonds as you are dazzled by the artisans offering hand crafted toys, glass ornaments and many other traditional Christmas gifts.
