The Guildhalls is located in the Grote Markt or Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium. The Grand Place is the central square of Brussels and one of the main tourist spots in this city. It is one of the remarkable landmarks of this city and is included in the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I received a call from a friend tonight and we were discussing about Christmas presents. Since Christmas is inevitable, I guess it is a good topic for us. Around five or six weeks more and Christmas will be finally here. I am also thinking of christmas gifts for mothers red envelope. It is only once in a year when we experience the spirit of giving and sharing. It is always a nice feeling when we give without expecting for return. Let us always remember the real meaning of Christmas. I can already feel the breeze of the holidays. Happy weekend folks and have fun!

This is the Kurhaus (Spa house) in W and iesbaden. This city is the capital of the state of Hesse and is located in southwestern Germany.

The Kurhaus below was built between 1904 and 1907 upon the request of Kaiser Wilhelm II. It has a Neo-classical architecture. You can also find a casino in this spa house.

Winter is coming soon! This is the time of the year when people who have winter season in their countries are shopping for winter clothes, shoes and other accessories. I have been shopping too since last month. I already bought four winter boots, three cardigan sweaters, four winter gloves, pair of socks, five winter scarf, five winter stockings and some caps. I believed these are already enough as addition to my old stuffs that I have.

Here is an image taken last week in one of the famous malls in Frankfurt, Germany. The architecture of this shopping mall is very unique. Watch it out in my next post. Don’t forget to stay warm during this cold time of the year!

I am quite satisfied during our short trip to Brussels because I had the chance to see the European Parliament buildings in this capital city of Belgium.

Brussels (Belgium) is considered to be the de facto capital of the European Union, having a long history of hosting the institutions of the European Union within its European Quarter. The EU has no official capital, and no plans to declare one, but Brussels hosts the official seats of the European Commission, Council of the European Union, and European Council, as well as a second seat of the European Parliament. read more here
