If you happened to visit a German fair, I am very sure that you had already seen Lebkuchenherzen. It is called Gingerbread Hearts in English. By the name itself, you can already figure out that it has a heart-shaped form. Whether you are visiting the famous Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, the carnival in Cologne, the Canstatter Volksfest in Stuttgart or any other fair and celebration in Germany, don’t forget to try these famous Lebkuchenherzen.

They range in size from small saucers to large platters and are strung with a ribbon for easy wearing. Some sweet words are also engraved in these sweeties.

I believed Christmas time is the busiest time of the year. Christmas time is also party time. Agree with me guys?

There should be a party this afternoon for Filipino-Americans inside the U.S. Base near our place but it was cancelled due to the bad weather condition. That is also the reason why we celebrated the party last night. I guess I need to try weight loss supplements because with the myriads of parties going on, I just feel that I am getting bigger and bigger. This is not really a good idea for me. Sometimes, I am thinking that as long as I have fun and everyone is also happy, partying is not that bad at all. More parties are coming again soon! Merry Christmas!

Do you believe on the saying, “There is no place like home”? Time truly passes by so quickly. It is a year now since I visited my home country Philippines. I would say that it was a great vacation being with my family, relatives, friends and neighbors. The feeling of being at home cannot be exchange with any monetary value. I am just thankful that I had the chance and opportunity to be in my home country for almost three months lately. For now, I still don’t know when I will be coming back again.

Hello Philippines! There is truly no place like home! For sure, I will be always coming home. The question is……when?

This is one thing I miss from my home country especially the place where we live. …the scenery, the blue sky, blue sea, fresh breeze from the sea, the fresh fishes and seafood every morning, warm weather, relaxing moments and most of all my family and friends. I miss you all and hope to see you next time…in God’s will!

How’s your day today? I hope you have a wonderful one. The first weekend of December is almost over. It is freezing cold outside but this afternoon we still manage to take a walk around our little village. It is good to spend some time outside to get a bit acquainted with the freezing cold weather. I guess it is good for the body. I was also browsing for office decorating ideas awhile ago. I just need to do it to have ideas on how to make my little PC room a comfortable place for working. I know that during this winter time, I will not be going out as often as I can compared to summer time. My little so-called office will be my hybernating room. I love it! I wish you all a nice week ahead.
