I had a conversation with hubby last week. I told him that my feet got itchy again. I need to go somewhere. First, he was hesitant that I will travel alone again. Later on, I finally convinced him especially that I found affordable villa holidays to stay-in in some places in France. There are still a lot of places that I wish to visit in this country and here are my top 5.

Paris

This so-called “city of lights” is truly a must-see when you visit Europe. Paris is the capital and the largest city of France. I had been to this Paris twice but when I still have the chance to visit it again in the future, I will for sure grab it. I had seen its top 3 landmarks, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Due to these and its other historical and interesting sights, Paris has become a popular tourists destination not only in Europe but around the globe as well. Imagine around 45 millions of tourist every year! That is amazing!

Cannes

This is another city that I wish to visit in France. I always watch over the Television about the Cannes Film Festival that is held here every year. Cannes is considered to be a famous tourist destination in French Riviera. It is also well-known for its luxury shops, hotels and restaurants.

Normandy

Have you heard about the Battle of Normandy? I love history and this is one of the reasons why I would love to visit this place. It is a very historical place and it always fascinates me. It is also known for its architecture like the Abbey of Jumièges, near Rouen , the Abbey of Mont Saint Michel and the Abbey of Bec.

Reims

We happened to pass-by this city during my first visit to Paris. Reims has become a major city during the Roman Empire. For this reason, I believed that there are a lot of historical sights to see here. I would love to especially see the famous cathedral of Reims.

Strasbourg

I was so happy that I did had a chance to visit this city last December. I was able to experience its famous Christmas market. Strasbourg is the official seat of the European Parliament. It is also the is the capital and principal city of the Alsace region in north-eastern France. I found Strasbourg a very interesting city to visit and I still want to visit it again in the future.

I am looking for cheap villas in France from time to time. Who knows I will be visiting one or two of these places this year. I know there are always cheap villas, apartments and holiday rentals in any European destinations.

I had again another visit with friends to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This is already my third visit to this beautiful town of Bavaria. Actually, it is located in the district of Ansbach of Mittelfranken (Middle Franconia), the Franconia region of Bavaria in Germany. It is very well known for its well preserved medieval old town. It was also partly destroyed during the second world war but it was slowly built again.

I will more images and travel experience in my Explore Germany site. I am quite tired now after that day trip today. I am also happy that I had again a wonderful day with friends.

Hubby had to hurry-up yesterday after arriving home from work. He had a very important appointment to his lawyer regarding a certain case. Actually, it was about the accident he had last 2007 and until now, he is still not paid by the insurance company. This is also the reason why sometimes hiring a lawyer is very important especially in accident cases like this. There is also a so-called Maritime Injury Lawyer who helps seamen who are having serious maritime injury especially when they are offshore.

My hubby’s case is different because he had an accident while doing sports. He went biking that time and a boy passed across the biking way. It caused hubby’s ankle to be broken and got operated. Good to know that the boy was not harmed. The liability insurance of the boy’s parents will be the one to pay for my husband since it was the boy’s fault. We are hoping that this case will be cleared soon. We are also thankful that we have a lawyer’s insurance to pay for attorney’s fees. That is our advantage.

For those who love shopping, I believed this place can be one of the best for you. SM Mall of Asia is considered to be the 3rd largest shopping mall in Asia and the 4th largest shopping mall in the world. This is according to Forbes’ World’s 10 Largest Shopping Malls. The mall is located at Bay City, Pasay City, Philippines.

I am just happy that I once visited this place and had a window shopping there. Our hotel is located near this place as we visited Manila last January 2010.
The Mall of Asia was constructed within the reclamation area. It is built on 19.5 hectares of reclaimed land and has a gross floor area of 390,193 square meters. The mall is located at the southmost tip of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue.

The mall features the Philippines’s first Olympic-sized ice skating rink. At 61 by 30 meters, the rink is described as the biggest of its kind in Southeast Asia. It can accommodate both recreational and competitive figure skating, as well as ice hockey.

I am very happy for a friend who just entered another phase in her life. She just got married and I believed, she is so happy about it. Her dream finally came true. She was wearing one of the beautiful wedding dresses that I’ve found. I also love its style and elegance.
