Unique Decoration This Holiday Season

LV.rubybenz.12.2015.christmaswindow_lgWhen it comes to the holiday season, everyone has a unique way of celebrating and decorating. That said, the traditional Christmas lights and other decorations are nearly ubiquitous. Why not stand out from your neighbors a bit with holiday flags? These flags are designed with specific patterns to celebrate the reason for the season.

Flags have long been a way people celebrate and announce their festivities. They’re easy to hang up and add a touch of flare to a space that may otherwise be a bit barren. Add in a flag pole and you instantly have a decoration that will draw attention just because of how different it is from all the other decorations in the area.

Most decorative flags are built for outdoor use. As such, they’re large, usually on the order of three feet by five feet. In addition, they’re made of weather resistant cotton or polyester, meaning they can withstand abuse even in the most extreme of conditions. The holiday season is often accompanied by winter’s chill and a lot of rainfall, but these flags will hold up throughout it all. They’re machine washable, so if they get a bit dirty because of the weather, it’s easy to wash them and restore them back to their original state.

Best of all, these flags are affordable. Unlike many types of decorations, the price point is low; you’ll pay more for an indoor Christmas village for the mantle than you would a decorative flag. A creative use for these flags is to hang them over the window. This helps to block out some of the cold air that may seem through into your home, while still providing you with a beautiful bit of scenery to view. Decorative flags are a win-win; not only do they look great, but they can serve a variety of purposes throughout the home. And when the holiday season comes to an end, these flags are easy to roll up and store until next year. They take up nearly no space, so you’ll never even notice their presence in your storage space.
