A Simple but Memorable Celebration of Christmas Day
This is quite late but still, better late than never!
Christmas day is over and I hope you all had a wonderful one. I believed Christmas is celebrated every day and its meaning is the most important of all! For me, Christmas is not being rich, nor being poor. It is not getting or receiving the materials things in life but it is more on that. It is understanding more the deeper meaning of life. Christmas is about hope and always hoping for a better life in terms of spiritual aspect.
Foods I prepared last Christmas day.
Christmas is the time of forgiving, the time of acceptance, the time of love and hoping and praying for peace around the world. But sometimes, we just forget its real meaning because we are endowed with many material things that are ruining its real essence. I hope we realize its real meaning and why we celebrate Christmas.

Last Christmas day, I had a simple but memorable celebration with my other half. I did prepared and cooked some foods including pancit (Filipino Noodle), breaded fish, baked fish with olive oil, onions and garlic, stick pork barbeque and vegetable salad. German Christmas cookies were also served like butter cookies, Lebkuchen or ginger bread and more. I also served some fruits from orange to mango and grapes.
While we were taking our dinner, the four advent candles were lighted and also the Christmas lights. It was a quite simple and memorable evening we had. It was indeed a wonderful night for me. I hope you had a great one as well!
