The Olympiapark in Munich, Germany

I visited for the first time the Olympiapark in Munich, Bavaria, Germany last 2009. It is the Olympic Park which was constructed for the 1972 Summer Olympics. I would love to visit it again next time and make a tour around the area.

The Olympiapark is located in the so-called “Oberwiesenfeld” or the “upper meadow field” in Munich. It now serves as a venue for social, cultural and any religious events. You can see the Schwimmhalle (swimming hall) and the pond here where some water sports are being held. If I probably live near this area, I would love to go walking here when the weather is nice. Have a great weekend!

p.s. someone seems to be sitting on the ground of the Olympiapark.
