That was a fun shopping we had last time. Me and my friend went to a hardware store that  also sells house decorations and accessories, bathroom sets, flowers  and materials needed for building houses. In their sale section, we found these box full of ballpens, highlighters,  pencils and refillable pens. I ended up buying a lot because it was very  cheap.

For some reasons, I really love pens. I guess I  made a wrong choice of taking accountancy rather than a writer or  being journalist. I wish I am but I am quite happy with what I am doing right now.

I will be sending some of the pens to my sisters and niece and nephews in  my home country thru Balikbayan box. I am thinking which company to send it.

Pens of all kinds were on sale during our shopping escapade last summer.

The spirit of the holiday season is just around the corner. I believed some of you are already feeling its atmosphere. Some might be done in shopping for their Christmas presents. I would say, I am partially done. I already started shopping for presents since two weeks ago.

For now, I am still thinking what to add in my Christmas shopping list. There are actually a lot but I would like to prioritize it. I would probably want one of those best appliance lifts. It is really hard if you have a little kitchen like what we have. With the help of this gadget, we can surely save space in our kitchen.

My list is still not complete but I am happy to already start buying some gifts for Christmas. How about you?

Have you been to Athens, Greece and saw its famous sight called the Parthenon? I haven’t visited Greece yet but I already saw a building that looks exactly like the Pathenon. It is the so-called Walhalla Memorial. This is like a hall of fame located in Donaustauf near Regensburg, Germany.

You can find busts of the famous personalities and distinguish people in German history from politicians to scientists, artists, performers and sovereigns.  It was commissioned by King Ludwig I of Bavaria and was supervised by the architect Leo von Klenze.

I have been to this neo-classical building for a lot of times.  If we have some friends and visitors coming, we usually bring them there.

The memorial displays some 65 plaques and 130 busts of persons, covering 2,000 years of history — the earliest person honored is Arminius, victor at the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest (9 AD).

Going on holiday is supposed to be a time of excitement, so the last thing you want to do is ruin it by forgetting something vital. One great way to keep track of your valuables and essentials is to make a checklist and tick everything off as it gets done – or as soon as it goes in the suitcase.

Whether you bring along a cutting-edge SLR or a good old fashioned disposable, a camera is essential – you’ll certainly regret it if you aren’t able to capture those magical moments. However, if your camera is digital, remember to also pack any battery chargers or memory cards you might need.

Last but certainly not least: don’t forget your passport. Keep a mental note of where it’s located in your hand luggage so that you can produce it quickly when passing through security. And finally, to speed up the checking-in process considerably, remember to check your airline’s baggage weight limits before you pack – that way, you can make sure your bag is within the limits and avoid painful last-minute charges.

We finally arrived home safely today. It was a long trip from Italy but it was all worth it. I was happy accompanying my friend whose son had a soccer play in Vicenza, Italy. The second purpose there is also to go shopping for ceramics. As you know Italy is also famous in terms of ceramics and other pottery products. We went to this ceramic factory in Vicenza and shopped for some ceramics to be used in the kitchen. My friend was so happy of what she bought there. I am the same! I bought some for my sister as well.

I guess I have to slow down now on ceramic and porcelain shopping. I need to save money for other stuffs. We are planning to buy one of those corner tv stands we found online. Ours is slowly getting bad. It is just so obsolete and it is not so presentable anymore.

Back to shopping in Italy. I post some pictures soon! I haven’t uploaded our photos yet. Goodnight peeps! I am still a bit tired from that trip.
