birthday gifts of my husband’s relative…are your Christmas gifts ready??

How was your Saturday? I did a lot of household chores today after having been away for almost a month. I cooked, cleaned the house, washed the dirty clothing and bedding and started the fire in our small fireplace. We are using electric heater too since now is already very cold. I already mentioned that it is snowing now in our place. The earliest snow I ever had since I live in this country. I also posted here some photos which I took outside today. This cold winter in our place also means that White Christmas is almost here! I know that people are already preparing for this most memorable and joyful celebration of the year.

A lot of people have been preparing for this celebration to come. I know I am still not fully prepared but I still have time. I even told my hubby today if we are going to make a party during Christmas since his birthday is also near that date. We usually cook some food during Christmas and my husband bakes some cookies. I know how to bake some cakes but my husband bakes better. OOpps, I should not also forget to give some present to the first friend I met here in my second home. I already knew her for a very long time and she has been a true friend to me. I also have other good friends and I guess gift baskets are the best present I can give. I am finally done with my household chores. This is in relation to my recent post today. I just want to clarify to those who might not have any idea of what is really the London bridge and the Tower bridge. I want to clarify this because I myself had a belief before that this photo I have here now is the London bridge…but it is not..This is called the Tower bridge. The real London bridge just looks like an ordinary bridge as seen in my recent post. Is that clear!! This is finally the Tower Bridge during the night!! beautiful view!! and yes before I forgot, I witness the falling up and down of this bridge!!

Hi Guys! I am finally and officially backed home after almost a month of taking a break or vacation in United Kingdom. Pity for my hubby who stays alone in our home. I truly miss him but now I am back.. happy together again!! That was a great experience seeing the country and it gives me again another energy. To all friends who helped me there, I will be writing a special post for you with our photos together. I hope to download all photos this weekend and hopefully next week, I can already start my “Gratitude Post”.

Oh well, Christmas is fast approaching! Are you ready with the countdown? Did you start packing your gifts already? Honestly, I have not yet wrap any gifts for friends and family here in my new home. I already sent a big “Balikbayan” box home as Christmas gift to my family and relatives. I am hoping to start shopping next week for Christmas presents. I am even planning to give my Mother some sort of custom jewelry design. My Mother loves jewelries so much. You know what women want..do you? Last year I gave here a gold plated women’s watch and she really love it.

After I took my breakfast this morning, I immediately went outside and made a photo of myself..cool photo addict!! I was really surprised by the snow this morning. In fact it is still snowing a bit right now. It was already forecasted that snow will come yesterday. I believed last night was snowing very hard…here is the pix in our garden….wheeeww..it is freezing cold again!!
