It was exactly Valentines day when I came back from a very long vacation from the Philippines. My husband picked me up at Munich International Airport very early in the morning. The airplane arrived exactly at the airport at around 7:00 AM. I have to wait for around 40 minutes to get my luggage. At the arrival area, dear HB was already waiting since 6:00 AM, he told me. I was touched as he approached me and hugged me with tears in his eyes caused by joy and happiness because I am safely back. I was also surprised as he handed me a rose and some chocolates as Valentine gifts. He is truly a very good and thoughtful man. I was not really expecting a gift from him because I even forgot that it was Valentines day. I just had one wish for next month. I want to surf for cheap treadmills. I guess I need one so that I can exercise at home without the worry of walking and jogging outside especially during cold winter time. I am happy that it is not so cold now compared to the first days I arrived in Germany. I hope that the weather will be better soon because I already bought some plants getting ready to be planted in the spring time. I love this season of the year. How about you?

Let’s visit Philippines again! I have here a picture which I took during my long vacation in the Philippines. This is a capture of Cebu City as we were on top of Taoist Temple in Beverly Hills. I guess I can’t stay too long now. I am just feeling so tired after a long day of doing a lot of things. I am still not feeling perfectly healthy. My cough is not getting better. I want to let you know that this is my 1108 entry in this blog. I wonder I have been blogging for some years now and I love it. I am slowly signing-off now. I felt fresh and sleepy after taking a shower. Before I go to bed I want to scan the magazine I bought with night cream reviews. I bought it in the Philippines and brought it here in Europe. I just find the magazine very informative. I also need to put on my night cream before going to sleep. I’ll see you again tomorrow guys! Goodnight!

Trier (French: Trèves; Luxembourgish: Tréier; Latin: Augusta Treverorum) is a city in Germany on the banks of the Moselle River. It is the oldest city in Germany, founded in or before 16 BC.[1] Trier is not the only city claiming to be Germany’s oldest, but it is the only one that bases this assertion on having the longest history as a city, as opposed to a mere settlement or army camp.
Trier lies in a valley between low vine-covered hills of ruddy sandstone in the west of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, near the German border with Luxembourg and within the important Mosel wine-growing region.
Trier is the oldest seat of a Christian bishop north of the Alps. In the Middle Ages, the Archbishop of Trier was an important ecclesiastical prince, as the Archbishopric of Trier controlled land from the French border to the Rhine. He was also one of the seven electors of the Holy Roman Empire.
With an approximate population of 100,000, Trier was until 2005 ranked fourth alongside Kaiserslautern among the state’s largest cities, after Mainz, Ludwigshafen am Rhein and Koblenz. The nearest large cities in Germany are Saarbrücken, some 80 km southeast, and Koblenz, about 100 km northeast. The closest city to Trier is the capital of Luxembourg, some 50 km to the southwest.
Trier is home to the University of Trier, the administration of the Trier-Saarburg district and the seat of the ADD (Aufsichts- und Dienstleistungsdirektion), which until 1999 was the borough authority of Trier. It is one of the five “central places” of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Along with Luxembourg, Metz and Saarbrücken, fellow constituent members of the QuattroPole union of cities, it also forms a central place of the greater region encompassing Saar-Lor-Lux (Saarland, Lorraine and Luxembourg), Rhineland-Palatinate and Wallonia.

We went to Neumarkt in Upper Palatinate last Tuesday. We also went a bit shopping. HB bought a pants and I told him that he need a bigger one. He said that it will fit him because he exactly have the right size for him. As we arrived home, he immediately fitted the pants. To his dismay he got disappointed because it was very tight. Does he need to take fat burner for men or he have to buy always bigger pants? He told me that we will drive back to Neumarkt tomorrow to exchange the said pants with a bigger size. It’s shopping time again. I guess it is time for both of us to reduce weight…wink!
