We went to my hubby’s brother- in- law this afternoon to pick-up my car. I finally had a new windshield in it after waiting for some months to have it replaced. We stayed there for almost an hour because hubby was still having a communication with his twin sister. They are talking about the burial of their relative tomorrow who died due to cancer. Hubby also got the information about the place of the burial so that we can use our navigator to guide us where the place of the burial is. As we got home tonight, hubby was discussing with me what to wear in the burial. He said that he need to wear something formal and he also need to wear a necktie. It is quite new to me because in my home country, we can wear whatever we want to attend a burial. I mean something that is not really formal. As he was looking for some of his formal clothes, he found out that a lot of it won’t fit to him anymore. I guess, it is time for him to buy new ones. He even told me that his twin sister bought new formal clothes only for this burial. I smiled as hubby was telling it to me. I would suggest to hubby to buy cargo elastic waist pants so that it is always flexible.

I guess shopping for new clothes and everything is not impossible at this time. We can shop online at the comfort of our home. There are a lot of online shops to choose from. I stumbled awhile ago at Blair, an online shopping store where you can buy anything you want from men’s to women’s clothing, jewelry, home accessories and a lot more. This is one of the shops online where you can simply buy the things you want. I found a very interesting item in their clearance sale. Since Father’s Day is almost approaching, I would love to give something special to my husband. I would love to know if they ship items in Europe or else I might let my sister in the U.S. to buy it for me. I can’t stay too long tonight. I still need to wake-up early tomorrow to attend the burial. Goodnight folks! happy shopping online!

I just chatted with my sister from Las Vegas some minutes ago. It’s been some weeks now since we did not communicated. Thanks to the power of internet and computers where we can chat for free. She just bought a new house. She also said that they need to tighten their built now to pay all their living expenses and the monthly mortgage for the house. I also remember my visit to her in Las Vegas last 2008. Sometimes we enjoyed having spa since they got one in their house. I could remember her hubby buying a new spa filter so that we can use it. They also have a swimming pool at the back of their house. This sounds like a luxury to me. I believed we cannot afford to have it here in Europe. It is just to expensive for us. We can be very happy to pay our bills every month and have all the basic things we need. It simply means living a simple but happy life and living according to your means. Got it folks?

I am thankful that I made some pictures of Disneyland, California. It is almost two years now since I visited this beautiful and entertaining place. The date stamp on the image below says that I was there exactly on June 6, 2008. This was taken in Paradise Pier, one of my favorite parks in Disneyland. I can’t forget the fun I had in this place. I did truly enjoyed it.

I found some old photographs as I was looking for a travel book at the other bedroom this morning. I was trying to browse my picture files awhile ago trying to search if I already scanned one of those old photos. I am lucky to find a picture of me seven years ago. As you can see I have quite a beautiful and healthy black long hair in this picture. I never use shampoo for hair growth but I experience once in my life having a very long hair that grows until below my hips. I just let my hair cut during my vacation in warm Philippines last January this year. Feel free to click the picture to enlarge it. I wish to scan more old photographs of mine when I have time.

I love this scenery in Knaresborough in North Yorskhire, England. You can see here the colourful trees in Autumn time, the River Nidd and the Railway Viaduct over this river in Knaresborough. You can see the embedded date and time when I took this picture during my three weeks vacation in England last 2008. I would love to visit this place again in the future.
