I have seen and passed this castle for maybe more than fifty times. I was already there for around five times or more. This is the remains of the Wolfstein Castle in Neumarkt Upper, Palatinate in Bavaria, Germany. The castle was dais to be built around 1120. Sometimes there are plays and events in the castle initiated by a so-called group Wolfsteinfreunde.

I almost forgot that today is the first day of September. The BER months are starting now. What did you do something special today? I did not do something special today. I only did some grocery shopping but forgot some important things. I was not able to write my shopping list because I was so busy the past days. I took a look at some electronics like netbook and camera but did not buy one. I also bought a new coffee machine for hubby and a bag for my sister and some clothing that were on sale for my nieces and nephews back home. Some of the things that I forgot to buy are olive oil, regular cooking, paper towel, mouthwash and some German sausages. Hubby also asked me if I buy some gasoline for his car. Sad to day, I forgot to bring with me the gas gallon. What is the lesson here? Take time to write your shopping list so that you won’t forget anything.

Do you love to ride in a Ferris wheel? Yes, I do! Everytime we visit a certain festival near our place, I always see to it that I can have the chance to ride a Ferris wheel. It is one of the rides that I love most because I can have all the opportunity to look around.

The Ferris wheel below was taken in Straubing, a city in Bavaria, Germany. We attended the so-called Gäubodenvolksfest, a festival held in this city every year during the month of August.
Together with the Gäubodenvolksfest, presentation of the different businesses of their products and services is also held near the festival area. Thus, you see in the image here some garden decorations that are presented by some businesses.

Do you know where to find the biggest Cathedral organ in the whole world? I believed I am lucky to see for the third time this organ. It is located in St. Stephan’s Cathedral in Passau, Bavaria, Germany. We visited this city last week. This cathedral is called as Dom St. Stephan in German, is a baroque church built from 1688. I found this cathedral very beautiful especially the carvings, paintings and frescos on its ceiling. It is such and amazing baroque architecture.

the Passau Cathedral has acquired the largest organ outside of the United States. It is also the largest cathedral organ in the world. The organ currently has 17,774 pipes and 233 registers, all of which can be played with the five-manual general console in the gallery.

How’s your weekend folks? I hope you had a lovely one. Yes, I did! It seems that I am sharing something yummy in here. It is not because we went to a birthday party tonight but I would rather say that due to curiosity, I took an image of the so-called “World’s Best Chicken which we tasted in Wuerzburg, Bavaria, Germany. We happened to visit this city last Tuesday and perfect timing that we arrived there during lunch time and found a fast food restaurant. I noticed that the kitchen lighting of the said restaurant are very nice. If I am not mistaken, I also took an image of it. Sad to say, I am very sleepy now and can’t find enough time to browse it in my picture files. To make the story short about the “World’s Best Chicken” which is also the name of that fast food restaurant, it tasted good but I am quite very far from that place. Good to know that I have some images to look everytime I want to see it. I guess that’s all for now. I need to slowly sign-off. Goodnight folks!
