We are having a full sunshine right now. I feel good everytime the sun shines. Is spring season coming up soon? How I wish! I can’t wait to see again the blooms in our garden especially the tulip flowers. After waking-up today, I had again my morning ceremony. I had a mug of green tea and a piece of dunkin donut. I bought it in Dunkin Donuts in Berlin. It was the first time I saw this company in Europe. While drinking my tea, I was browsing some leaflets and saw especially some
wrinkle cream products for this week. I will be going tomorrow for grocery shopping and wish to buy one of these products. I can’t imagine that I am almost in the stage where life is going to begin. I hope you know what I mean with this. At least, I am savoring and enjoying each day of my simple life.

Lupburg is a municipality in Neumarkt Upper Palatinate in Bavaria, Germany. It also has a castle ruins which was said to be destroyed by the Swedes during the thirty years war. It is located near a beautiful medieval church as you can see in the image here. Hohenfels, where the U.S. Army Base is located, is around 15 kilometers from Lupburg.

I had finally visited the capital city of Germany. Berlin is one of the interesting cities to visit in Germany and Europe as well. It is an irony that I just visited this city but was already in other capital cities of Europe like Rome in Italy, Paris in France, Zurich in Switzerland, Prague in Czech Republic, London in England, Brussels in Belgium, Luxembourg, Amsterdam in Netherlands, Vienna in Austria, etcetera and hopefully some other more to come.
One of the main sights we visited in Berlin is the Brandenburg Gate, called in German as Brandenburger Tor. This gate is not only an iconic symbol of Berlin but Germany as a whole. It is even considered as one of the famous landmarks of Europe. It is located at the junction of Unter den Linden and Ebertstrasse. It is only some meters walk from the Reichstag building, the seat of the German Parliament.

Special thanks to friends and fellow kababayans Marvin and Arlene for the company and for touring me around during my second day in Berlin. I also had a wonderful night with Chris, a lawyer in Berlin together with his wife Kris. All I can say, I had a great time in Berlin. It was a wonderful and memorable trip.

Brisbane is one of the cities that I wish to visit in Australia. Being rated as the 16th most livable city in the world by The Economist in 2009, I believed spending a trip in this city is very interesting. Because of that I am already researching for its worthy to visit landmarks and also for cheap brisbane hotels for my accommodation.
Here are some of the top famous sights to see in Brisbane;
The City Hall of Brisbane
It is known as Brisbane’s finest. It is located near Kin George square and the home of Brisbane City Council. It was once the tallest building in Brisbane. Its imposing clock tower is 70 meters high. It was based on the design of the St Mark’s Campanile in Venice, Italy. That probably the reason why it looks very familiar to me because I had already seen its similar one in Venice.
St. Stephen’s Cathedral
I already visited the Cathedrals of St. Stephen in Vienna (Austria), Regensburg and Passau (Germany) and maybe in the future the one in Brisbane, Australia. I was amazed by the styles and architectures of these cathedrals that I visited before. For sure, the one in Brisbane is also a very interesting one. The cathedral was built between 1864 and 1922 and one of the cornerstones in the history of the Catholic community of Brisbane.

This bridge is named for John Douglas Story, who was a prominent public servant of Queensland. The Story Bridge, one of the oldest bridges in Australia. It was designed by John Bradfield, the designer of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It spans more than 250 metres (820 ft) across the Brisbane River.
Remember these are only some of the sights that I wish to see in Brisbane. There are still a lot of things to see in this city from its museums to parks, historical architectures, city landmarks and other nearby attractions.
I still don’t have images from Brisbane. I am only sharing the Cathedral of St. Stephen in Regensburg, Germany. I had seen this cathedral many times.

I went down to check something in the kitchen last night. I was surprised seeing red tulips and chocolates with loving notes on the table.I love Milka and Mon Cheri too! lol! It is a heart shaped Milka this time and red red mon cheri…..simple presents but I was touched by hubby’s thoughtfulness….Vielen Dank mein Schatz für alles..Ich liebe dich auch!
