Trip to Schwandorf

The girls had fun yesterday. After taking our lunch, we proceeded to Schwandorf to do some shopping. Actually, it was a grocery shopping. We don’t really go there all the time. It is a good place to go for grocery shopping because Globus is a big supermarket. I forgot to look for some gadgets in its adjacent electronic store yesterday. Good to know that there is an htc incredible s at the source online. I can always take a look at it anytime. It was a wonderful day yesterday going out with friends. I know for sure, there will be more girls’ outing and shopping this summer.

Success Operation

Good evening folks! I am finally back here after doing some household chores. I am just happy to share that two friends were finally dismissed from the hospital. Their operations were successful and I am very sure that their families and friends were very happy about it, so am I. Thanks goodness for that success! We had a chance to visit them last week after the day they were operated. Of course, they never needed an ekg because it is not really necessary for them. I am quite sure that they are still in the process of healing especially the cuts from the operations.

Let me translate a bit what are the meaning of these words in the picture here. This was taken from the hospital where my friends were operated.

Ergeschoß- can also be written as Ergeschoss, meaning ground floor.
Anmeldung- registration
Röntgen- X-ray
Endoskopie- Endoscopy
Labor- laboratory
OP u. Entbindung- Operating Room and Delivery Room

I guess you are learning a bit German here. Have fun!

Jump for Joy in Bohol, Philippines

February 2010, this was my second visit to the beautiful island of Bohol in central Visayas region in the Philippines. I was jumping for joy because this place is a paradise for me. Imagine a blue sky, sunshine, fine white sand beaches, palm trees and warm weather! This setting is always the dream of a lot of European people especially the Germans and the British.Everything was perfect there during our visit. I always love it there and still wishes to visit this place in the future!

the beautiful beaches in Bohol Beach Club. This was me jumping for joy! I miss this place!

I wish I am lying on the white sand down one of the nipa huts here!
such a beautiful scene! truly a paradise!

Pottery Shopping in Poland

I wanted to go to sleep very early last Friday night because at 2:00 a.m. the next day, we will be having a trip to Poland. I told hubby to set the alarm at around 00:30 a.m. so that I can get ready for the trip. A friend will be stopping by to pick me up at around 1:00 a.m.. I did not really know the whole itinerary of the trip because my friend who invited me for that trip don’t know it either. She just mentioned that it is a pottery shopping trip.

To make the story short, we truly had a pottery shopping in a town called Bolesławiec in Poland. I wanted some apple bottom but can’t find anything in this place. Anyway, I am quite happy and contented with all what I bought in Poland’s famous pottery town, Bolesławiec. I will share more information and my shopping experience in my other travel sites below. See you there soon!
