It is snowing like crazy outside! It seems that we will really be having a white Christmas this year. I thought we will not have one. This is also the perfect season of the year to escape the winter in Europe. If I can only do that, I would love too but I just had a short vacation in Spain lately.

If I will be lucky this week with my numbers, I will surely find the best Phuket holiday deals in the net. My friend from Singapore who once visited Phuket last summer told me that this place is truly a great getaway in Southeast Asia.

Here are some of the things I would love to do and see if I will visit Phuket, Thailand in the future.

Enjoy and Relax at the Beach– I believed most of you know that Phuket is Thailand’s premier tourist destinations. One of the reasons is, because of its lovely beaches. I would love to have a stroll on some of its famous beaches like the Hat Patong, Hat Karon or maybe in Kata beach. This is one thing I miss at the moment, a walk on a white-sandy beach under the palm trees and simply enjoy the sun, blue sky and water.

See Its Interesting Sights– Everytime I travel, I always see to it that I also experience the culture and history of a place or city. By seeing its attractions like historical monuments and architecture or maybe a visit to a museum, you will have the chance to know the local culture of that certain place, thus also knowing how the people live in that certain area.

The Thalang National Museum, the Two Heroines Monument, the Wat Chalong, the Phuket Butterfly Garden and Insect World, are only some of the attractions that I would love to visit and to experience in Phuket.

Taste Thai Cuisine– During my recent visit in Spain, that was actually a week ago, I promised myself that I will taste its famous food like Paella, Tapas or Jamon. I actually did! I love the food in Spain and wish I am still there right now. When I visited Budapest last summer of this year, I also told myself that I will try its famous cuisine called goulash. Yes, I did! When I was in Turkey last September, I also tasted some of its local cuisine like Pide, kebabs, sadi pilav and so many more. I always love food tasting!

I have been to some Thai restaurants in Europe but tasting the ones in Thailand is another experience. You can truly say that you were in Thailand and had eaten Thai food. Among the few that I would love to try are Nam Phrik Kung Siap, Koit Diaow Rueah, Hokkien mee, Pad Kanaa Moo Grob..anyway I have a long list for this and I better stop mentioning now or else I will get hungry again.

Try Some Outdoor and Water Sports– I am quite of an adventurous person. I always love to try things that are full of fun and excitements. I am not an expert swimmer but I can swim. I would surely love to try snorkeling, jet-skiing, yachting and deep sea fishing. Of course there are a lot of famous water sports you can do in Phuket. Diving, windsurfing, kite surfing,sea canoeing are only some of it. Just choose the perfect time and place to experience it.

The European Parliament seats are located in Luxembourg, Strasbourg in France (its main seat) and in Brussels, Belgium. The European Parliament building I have here in my image is the one located in Brussels.

I always hear it over the radio or watch over the Television. I even heard it from my friends who are currently busy shopping for Christmas. Yes, I guess everybody’s busy shopping for Christmas. One of my friends also went online shopping last time because she had a lot of old navy coupons for up to 50%. That is quite great. Now she is still waiting for her orders to be shipped. I am happy for her.

Somebody also asked me of I want some Christmas presents but I told him that I really don’t need some. I already have all the things that I need…car, food, shelter, clothing and other basic needs. Besides I already had my Christmas present, the recent trip to Spain last week. Christmas is not really all about material things. I only wish for more love, peace and good health for me and my family..and yes more travel to come next year. How about that?

I was not happy after knowing that we will not be visiting Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. Our tourist guide told us that it was under renovation at the time we will be visiting it. Instead of that, he told us that we will visit Dolmabahçe Palace.

Since it is not allowed to take pictures inside the palace rooms, I only have an image taken from its entrance. This is a very interesting palace with notable architecture both inside and out.

This palace is located in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the European coastline of the Bosphorus strait. served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1922.

There are a lot of beautiful places to visit in Southeast Asia. One of it is Malaysia, a country which is rich in culture and history. It is a mixture of a developing nation and a modern world. Visitors and tourists will wonder the many things that Malaysia can offer . Johor Bahru– This city is the gateway to Singapore. It is well well known as an industrial city with many of the world’s top electronics manufacturers. For some tourists, it is not really appealing but shopping and eating in the city can be a real adventure, with many shopping complexes and a wide variety of food establishments offering budget to fine dining.

There are historical and interesting landmarks to see in Johor Bahru. The Istana Bukit Serene, Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque, Masjid India, Sultan Abu Bakar Royal Palace Museum, Johor Bahru Art Gallery (known as Galeri Seni Johor in Malay), Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, Johor Bahru Chinese Heritage Museum are among the few ones.

Malacca– This is the third smallest Malaysian state, after Perlis and Penang. It is dubbed The Historic State or Negeri Bersejarah among locals. Its rich historical background earned it a World Heritage Site designation in July 2008. This is also one of the reasons why visiting Malacca can be a unique experience.
