Plumbing Problem Finally Fixed

It was a tough afternoon I had today.  I believed not only me,  but the whole of the neighborhood. I thought  I  cannot finish all the household chores because  the faucet won’t drop any water anymore.

At first, I heard the loud siren  of the fire truck passing-by.  I though  there was accident nearby or a fire somewhere in the neighborhood.  I just noticed that the sound of the siren stopped just  near  our house.  I was also thinking that the other neighbor who is a disable  needs to be rushed to the hospital.  I stop for awhile and said a prayer hoping that nothing bad really happened.

I was just done cooking that time. I am already preparing to finish  washing the dishes so that I can water  the plants and flowers in the garden  afterwards. After watering the garden, I already planned to go for a bath at the tub.  I actually planned to go for  a bath first before  washing the dishes and watering the garden but decided to change the plan.

Meanwhile, as I was about to start washing the dishes, I heard very loud noises  from outside.  Firemen, plumbers and other helpers  were already trying to stop the water that was running out from the pipe on the street. When I went outside, I saw that it  seems to be flooding in the middle of the street because the water kept  on coming out from the pipeline.  It was like a fountain  in the middle of the road. I forgot to grab my camera to take pictures of what happened this afternoon until this evening. I only realized it too late now. In short, we don’t have water as it happened because they already closed all the line.

After almost an hour, machines and equipment were already transported  in front of our house to start the repair of the pipeline.  It was actually  the neighbor’s line next to  us that was broken for some reasons.  Well, I guessed I already have an idea why  their pipeline went bad like that. It was part of some construction they had some weeks ago. This is quite a long story so I rather proceed first with my main topic.

It was a big  plumbing repair and activity this afternoon until this evening.  In fact, they ended up removing or dismantling the cemented road to fix  the pipelines  that run underneath the road.  I really admire the modern machines and  equipment they used as they  did the repair of the broken pipes.

The incident happened at around 4:30 in the afternoon. At around 9:30 tonight,   everything was finally fixed and the water started to flow  out of the faucet again. I was so happy after knowing it because I can finally finish all my home chores that need water.  Finally, the big  plumbing problem was fixed.

At around 10:30 tonight, I finally finished all the things that I wanted to do.  I am so grateful for it. Thanks God, we have  water again.  Thanks also to the to the great workers like the plumbers, firemen, drivers, mechanics and all those who helped in fixing this plumbing problem.

I believed tomorrow, the  people in-charge in repairing damage roads will fix that part of the cemented road that was dug to repair the broken pipeline.

Finally, I can only say, PLEASE LEARN TO CONSERVE AND PRESERVE WATER! Without it, there is no life here on earth.  I am very happy now, I feel fresh before going to bed after soaking  at the tub tonight. Thanks for the water  dear Lord!

Cheers and take care folks! Goodnight and until then!
