Happy To Welcome Another Month of 2015
So, I am officially saying goodbye to the month of June! The sixth month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars is over now. So far, I can’t complain for last month’s happenings and over all, for the first half of 2015. There were challenges and trials but we have to accept that it is part of our lives. We just need to be always hopeful and remain positive in reacting to all of these challenges and trials.
As of now, I am gladly welcoming the month named in honor of the Roman general, Julius Caesar. Prior to that the month of July, it was called Quintilis. I believed this month will be a wonderful month for me and for also for all of you out there.
How was your first days of the month? I hope it is doing great. I am very thankful, I have the chance to enter into this month. There are so many things to be thankful each and everyday of our lives. Considering the blessing of waking up everyday, is already a great gift from up above. Many people don’t have the privilege and opportunity to greet another morning. For this alone, I am truly grateful.

Still Working to Save for the Future and for Retirement
Wow, time truly flies so fast nowadays. When I was young, I always wish to grow fast, finish college and go to work to earn for a living. Now, I realize, childhood days is still the best because you really don’t have to worry that much especially about financial matters. Thanks to my dear parents who cares, loves and provided everything in my younger days especially for sending me to school and helped me achieved my Bachelors Degree.
It is almost a year now since I am working. After 8 years of partly living a nomadic life and being a digital nomad, I decided to settle for awhile and went back to the job market. Although, it is not really my dream job and yes, it seems that I miss my job at the bank in which I worked for almost 9 years, I am still very thankful that I am earning my own money again. Thanks to my dear family especially to my bestfriend who supported me during those years when I keep on traveling.
As long as I can do this job and will help me realize my dreams and wishes to come true from time to time, I am praying for more patience, diligence and perseverance to do it. So help me God!
Home Project Continues
This is actually the main reason why I went back to work again. Living thousands of miles away from your family is not that easy. I hope one day, I can go home for good and live nearer to the people who are close to my heart particularly my family and friends.
This is quite a big project and it is the reason why I am inspired to do this hard job now. Last month, I am happy to see that the second floor of the house was already cemented. This is a project that will take for around 2-5 years, depending on the budget. Every month, I send part of my salary to continue building it. I am also very thankful to my siblings who are helping me build our family and retirement home.
Planning for Another Vacation
At first the vacation I filed last month was disapproved. Some colleagues already submitted their leaves ahead of mine. I was planning to go for a travel in Southeast Asia but it did not push through because of this reason.
At first, I really planned to go to South America but since it cost a bit fortune for me and considering the home project I have at the moment, I decided not to push the travel in that continent.
Two weeks ago, I searched for another date and countries to explore and it seemed that I found a perfect date. I immediately informed the manager if I can have a vacation leave during those time frame. I was so happy after knowing that my leave was approved. I will be traveling with a German friend whom I met during my travel last year in Africa. I find her so cool and we really had fun during that trip in Morocco. More on that, I already booked for our trip last week. I can’t wait to heal my itchy feet again! This travel bug really infected my whole being.
I guess, that is all for now. There is only one thing I can say, “Continue to dream and to wish for anything but you must remember, it must be coupled with action to make all those dreams and wishes to come true”.
