That Visit in San Remo, Italy
Time seems to pass so quickly nowadays. Imagine we are already on the middle of January 2015! I hope you had good times during the first weeks of 2015. For now, I have nothing to complain except that I really find it hard to go online so often as before. This is the consequence of having a full time job. I also miss those years when I just sit down in front of my laptop and keep on writing articles in my blogs. I hope those days will be backed again.
A fountain and some shops in San Remo during my visit in 2011 with friends. Sanremo or San Remo is a city on the Mediterranean coast of western Liguria in north-western Italy.
I am trying to reminisce my travels one at a time. One of the memorable travels I did in 2011 was that visit in Italy especially this place called San Remo. That travel reminded me of the Remo heads where some musicians were performing at the hotel we stayed in. They played good music and I guess, I am loving Italian music nowadays.
I can only say “Bella Italia”. Indeed, Italy is one of the beautiful countries I visited in Europe. No wonder I keep on visiting it from time to time. Even though we really don’t have so enough time during that trip in San Remo but the memories and fun I had with friends were priceless.
That walk on its narrow alleys especially in La Città Vecchia (the old city), the tasting of local foods at the restaurant especially seafood, window shopping on its market (we were lucky to witness it) and seeing its sights like the Russian Orthodox Church, the Sanremo Municipal Casino, the church La Chiesa di Santo Stefano and more are quite interesting. Due to lack of time, we don’t have the chance to walk along the beach. This might be one of the reasons to go back there.
