Foreign Aid to the Haiyan Typhoon Victims in the Philippines
This is just quick post. I would like to share to everyone especially to all Filipinos and most of all to the government officials who will be handling and distributing all the help received and will be received from different countries, organizations, institutions and groups worldwide.
Blessings are pouring to the victims of the Haiyan typhoon in the Philippines at the moment. It is good to know that in times like this, people around the world are helping hand in hand especially in times of calamities and tragedies like in the Philippines.
I only would like to share this post shared by a dear friend in my facebook wall for everyone to be aware of. Most of all, I am so thankful for all these people, volunteers, countries, organizations, institutions and groups worldwide who shared their blessings to the victims of this typhoon in the Philippines. Thanks a million for your help, generosity and compassion.
I am hoping and praying that all the help for the victims will go them and not to the pockets of the corrupt politicians. Filipino people and especially to the government officials in the Philippines, this is a challenge to all of you to prove to the whole world that there are still good people and honest politicians sitting in the Philippine government. Being a former banker and accountant, I see some discrepancies in the conversion of currencies above. I did some corrections of the conversion of the currency which you can see below. I used xe.com in converting this as of today. It not really big deal. What is the most important are the help that these great nations, charities and organizations in this world are helping Philippines. I believed the Philippines is so grateful for all your humanitarian help.

3,000,000.00 EUR = 175,288,125.45 PHP
20,000,000.00 NOK = 141,829,283.00 PHP
I hope and pray that the Philippine government and the people who will be distributing this help will be honest enough to give and distribute all the help to all the victims of the Haiyan typhoon and will not corrupt this money in their own pockets.
