Polish Pottery in Boleslawiec, Poland

Some of my friends don’t like Polish Pottery because they find it really heavy. Not for me! I love the potteries from Poland. I had the chance to  go there with friends  twice. My first visit  was through a bus trip  in which the main purpose of the trip was  pottery shopping.

During my second visit, a good friend of mine drove there. I admired her courage in driving to Poland. It was quite a long trip. I guess, it took us over 5 hours  including the  stopovers we made along the way.

Finally after a long trip, we arrived in Boleslawiec, Poland. The Germans called this city Bunzlau and it is very  famous for its pottery.  To make the story short, we shopped for potteries out there. I had enough with me and spent some hundred euros only for pottery.  I admired  the  beauty and uniqueness of Polish pottery.

Here are some samples of these nicely painted potteries.

I love these bowls!

mugs, teacups and more  in one of the  pottery  stores in  Boleslawiec, Poland.
