The Castle Ruins in Lupburg, Bavaria

Lupburg is a municipality in Neumarkt Upper Palatinate in Bavaria, Germany. It also has a castle ruins which was said to be destroyed by the Swedes during the thirty years war. It is located near a beautiful medieval church as you can see in the image here. Hohenfels, where the U.S. Army Base is located, is around 15 kilometers from Lupburg.

this was taken when I visited a friend who lives near this place. The church tower near the ruins of Lupburg Castle.
