My Husband's Plan to Buy a New Car

Did I say it right? I guess so! My husband is planning to buy a new car. Anyway, how's everyone doing? I hope that we are all doing good despite the financial crisis that is happening everywhere. We went last time to an Auto Shop wherein my husband was looking for a car. In Germany if you want to buy a new car now, you will get 2,500.00 euros from the government. If I am not mistaken the basic conditions must be; your car is 9 years old and you have been driving the car for at least one year. Since my husband is still not qualified since his second hand car is still not one year in his possession until next month, he can't avail of the 2,500 euros from the government. He still have to wait till next month or till our finances will be better in a few months. I hope so.

I had a lot of fun seeing Paris by night. We had a cruise in Seine River during our trip there last Saturday. The weather was quite windy and it was cold as we went cruising.Good thing I wear a good jacket. You can see in the photo the Eiffel Tower which I personally took. History of Arc de Triomphe

The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It was commissioned in 1806 after the victory at Austerlitz by Emperor Napoleon at the peak of his fortunes. Laying the foundations alone took two years, and in 1810 when Napoleon entered Paris from the west with his bride Archduchess Marie-Louise of Austria, he had a wooden mock-up of the completed arch constructed. The architect Jean Chalgrin died in 1811, and the work was taken over by Jean-Nicolas Huyot. During the Restoration, construction was halted and would not be completed until the reign of King Louis-Philippe, in 1833–36 when the architects on site were Goust, then Huyot, under the direction of Héricart de Thury. Napoleon's body passed under it on 15 December 1840 on its way to its second and final resting place at Les Invalides.

Having a Great Time

How was everyone? I hope you are all doing great! I was absent in the blogosphere for some days. We just came back this afternoon from a 5 days so-called short vacation. We had a short but great vacation. In short we were having a great time during the days that we are away. I still want to extend it but my husband have to go to work again. There are good things and bad things that happened during our vacation. I guess I have to start with the good one. I had finally seen Paris, France. It was a great city that has a lot to offer. The bad side was that, I was eating too much again. Not really good for me. I guess, I need appetite suppressant to stop too much eating. I will share more photos later in some of my sites. Of course including this site too! have a great one to all!

Love watching Movie

What a busy day! I mean yesterday. I did not notice that it is already past midnight now and I am still awake. Anyway I am already very tired and sleepy now. I am just telling some things that I love to do including watching movies. I am a movie fan but now life have been so busy. I am always a busy body even I just stay at home. There are some movies that I love to watch again and again. One of these is tuxedo starring my favorite Jacky Chan. Did you know that I am his adopted sister...just kidding guys! I need to go to sleep now, it is almost 1:00 am. Good night!

This is the fountain in the town of Burglengenfeld in the state of Bavaria, Germany. I use to go here sometimes in a year if we need something important especially hardware items. Have You Seen A Capodimonte?

I have asked some friends today if they are familiar with capodimonte. Some have idea about it some don't have. I showed them some pictures of my capodimonte and they said that it is very beautiful. Capodimonte if I am not mistaken is made either in porcelain or ceramics. It is said that Capodimonte porcelain factory was established in Naples in 1743, in direct emulation of the porcelain being produced at Meissen. Capodimonte is famous for is moulded figurines and its decorative modelled flowers applied to cups and vases. I have here below a photo of an example of capodimonte just to give you an idea. Planning to Travel but Don't Have Money for it?

Spring Time is Finally Here

It is finally spring time here in Germany. Today is the beginning of the Fruelhing or spring season. Below is a photo of of a cherry tree flower. It is pink. Most people might see white cherry flowers but ours have pink colors. To tell you guys, its fruit is very sweet!! I am excited when I can work again in our garden!

Queen Victoria's Memorial in Buckingham Palace, London

The statue you can see in Queen Victoria's Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace in London. This was taken during my three weeks vacation in England last year. Interesting place to visit in London!

The Victoria Memorial is a sculpture in London, placed at the centre of Queen's Gardens in front of Buckingham Palace.

It was built by the sculptor Sir Thomas Brock, in 1911. The surround was constructed by the architect Sir Aston Webb, from 2,300 tons of white marble. It is a Grade I listed building.

It has a large statue of Queen Victoria facing north-eastwards towards The Mall. The other sides of the monument feature dark patinated bronze statues of the Angel of Justice (facing north-westwards toward Green Park), the Angel of Truth (facing south-eastwards) and Charity facing Buckingham Palace. On the pinnacle, is Victory with two seated figures. The subsidiary figures were gifted by the people of New Zealand.

The whole sculpture has a nautical theme, much like the rest of the mall (Admiralty Arch etc). This can be seen in the mermaids, mermen and a hippogriff, all of which are suggestive of Great Britain's naval power.

Memory Cards for my Cameras

I bought some memory cards for my cameras last time. In fact I bought more than three last time. I have three cameras now and I want to have some extra memory cards for it. I also bought micro sd cards with adaptor so that I can also use it as regular SD cards. Two of my cameras, Canon Powershot and Samsung use SD cards while my new Sony digicam uses memory stick prou duo. I also bought some extra sd cards to give to my sisters back home. I can't wait to have a vacation back home. I keep on hoping and praying this year to see my friends and family again. You might be wondering why I was out in the blogosphere for two days? I Miss Vegas

How are you guys? I am doing perfectly good..The weather outside is quite gray and cold..I miss sometimes warm Philippines when it is very cold here..At least the weather now is better compared to last week which was snowy and really very cold. The snow are slowly melting now and I am hoping that no more snow will be coming again. I am just quite excited when spring time comes.

I miss Vegas too especially after I chatted bit with my cousin from Las Vegas who is in Philippines right now. I also chatted with my family and other cousins..happy about it! talking about Vegas, oh yeah, I miss that place. It was truly entertaining over there. My cousin even asked me when I am coming back there. I will see next year when time and finances permit. Sping Time is Almost Coming!

Hallo to everyone! The third month of the year is finally here. It is March now and spring time is almost coming. I love this time of the year because I will see again the blooming of the flowers in our garden. I would love to to see our Cherry tree bearing sweet red fruits again..I have some strawberries in our garden too..This orange tulips in the photo are only one of the kinds in our garden.
