Small House Renovation

From time to time my husband slowly repairs and renovates our house. His two weeks vacation ended today. We did not go for a long vacation anywhere but instead did something in the house. We only went to the Oktoberfest last Wednesday and made a trip to Prague yesterday. He is done repairing our fireplace and also made some paintings on our hallway ceiling. He still have to do something like replacing bathroom faucets upstairs and downstairs because they are loose already and a lot of water are dropping all the time. I hope he can do it next time or maybe during his off days in the weekend. Little by little, our little home is getting some improvements. Thanks to my hardworking husband!!

Prague, one of the cities I am dreaming to go to here in Europe. I was finally there yesterday Sept. 27, 2008 to be exact. I was amazed by the beauty of the place especially its beautiful and old buildings. It is a big city. What is really incredible was the old Charles Bridge. Prague speaks and represents the so called history. This is where you can also see how the ancient people preserved their history which I also admired!!

I Should Go To Reno

I regret did not going to Reno as I was in Las Vegas last time. My sister said that it is not so far from Vegas. Staying probably for two to three days is not bad. Some House Renovation

Today was quite a busy day for my husband. His two weeks vacation is almost over. It is not really called a vacation because he have to do a lot of things in the house like renovating our small fireplace. He also did some painting in our small hallway and in the kitchen too. Pity for him. There are still a lot of renovation that he want to do in our house and he want to do it little by little. He also need some materials and equipment for the renovation of our our house but he don't really need an industrial knobs since he just need an ordinary door knob for our other room. I broke it last time and need to be replaced. Hopefully we can make all the major renovation in two years. I would like that!!

I Love Cooking

I have interest about cooking. I love to always experiment a new recipe. I have a lot of cook books and just bought a new Asian cook book last Thursday. The thing is, I usually don't follow the instructions and ingredients. In fact, I am making my own recipe whether adding some or removing some ingredients in the recipe. My husband said all the food I cook taste good and sometimes very good!!! Applause for me!! wink! I guess I have a so-called culinary talent!!

I just called a friend today that I cannot go with her shopping this week because I have a lot of things to do. I am also busy with my escapades. Yesterday me and my husband went to Oktoberfest here in Munich and that was really a lot of fun. As we went shopping last time with this new friend, I bought some swimsuits because it was around 75% off. Not bad huh!! Actually I bought two swimsuits. I am just getting it ready once I go back home. Our house in my home country is just around 10 meters away from the sea. Well, you can just dive immediately!! I am imagining a lot of fun once I go home!! I miss my family and home already!!

I Play Billiard Too!

Let me tell you first a little bit of me. I am a sporty type of person. In fact, I am an athlete back in my school days. My favorite game at that time is softball. During my college days, we used to have the so-called inter-school games competition. We go to different schools every year in our province and compete for all types of games. I was there!! We also have department intramurals where different sports and games are also played. I also play a lot of ball games and other outdoor and indoor sports. To name a few are basketball, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, dart, chess, javelin throw, discuss throw, running and more. I am not an expert of these games but I know how to play it basically. Wait a minute I forgot to mention billiard. I love playing billiards too!!

MY Husband Loves Cars

I went with my husband this noon time to Burglengenfeld to buy oil for my car. My car already need to change its oil. Instead of bringing it to the car shop my husband want to do it himself. We could probably save around $150 till $200.00. That's quite a big money. He know how to do it anyway. As we drove out from the Toombaumarkt parking lot, my husband saw a very nice Mazda car. He said that's my dream car. He loves car anyway because he is also a little mechanic. That's what he do in the work do some mechanical jobs. He said he might buy a new car for himself once he will receive some money in 2010.

My Aching Eyes

I stayed too long in front of the computer tonight. Normally when I stayed after one hour or two, I am taking my break. Now my eyes are quite painful. There are just a lot of tasks to be finished. I am happy that I am almost done with my tasks. I don't know exactly if I need contact lenses. According to what I have known contact lenses also serve like eye glasses. Afternoon Walking

I went walking with my husband this afternoon for almost two hours. We usually do this two to three times a week just to have a little exercise. It is better than nothing. My Husband Love Watching TV

I am not really a TV fan but there are some TV programs that really interest me. What I love most about watching television are the news and latest updates around the world. Some programs like Galileo Mystery, Welt Spiegel (World Mirror), Culture Journal, Night Journal, good movies and other interesting programs that give important information are the ones that I usually watch. My husband love to watch TV too. That is the time when he is having his relax time. He really enjoys watching TV especially if it is his favorite programs.

How I wish

How is your day today? Weekend is over now! For those who are working, Monday can be a very hectic day. I remember that before as I was still working in the bank back in the Philippines. I was rotated to the different positions of the bank such as teller, customer sales assistant, branch operation assistant, loans and discount clerk, etc. When I was assigned as teller, I use to count millions of money and other financial transactions especially during Monday. Since there are no banking days during Saturday and Sunday, Mondays are always busy. At that time, I use to see Money as only papers of no value..well because I am only counting one that is not mine. Sometimes the other tellers would say "How I wish I am a Nouveau Riche person!!! I would also say the same!!

I guess, you already know what Nouveau Riche means. I believed I also mentioned it here in my previous post but can't just remember the exact date. Nouveau Riche simply means"new rich". It is a French word which also means new money. How I wish I am a victim of Nouveau Riche but I am not!! people who became like this are just so lucky to obtain all the wealth and luxuries in the world.

I Hate These Annoying Callers

I guess it's not only us but most people have problems with annoying callers. It don't happen only one time but almost all mornings at around 8:00 am, I already heard the phone ringing. Sometimes I am even still sleeping and the telephone starts ringing already. Annoying callers are already there. Our telephone have no caller ID before. Now we already have one where we can see who's calling us. The problem sometimes is that no phone number appears on the phone. It only says private number. I have some friends who set-up their phones as private, so I have no choice but to pick-up the phone but only found out that these are telemarketers who are even rude sometimes.

I finally Have a Calling Card
