I need to diet and loss weight

I am presently in las Vegas. I felt that Las Vegas is like a little Philippines. There are lots of Filipinos working here. But what I really like are the Filipino stores and restaurants that sells Filipino foods.

In Germany, I have never been to a Filipino restaurants or fastfood besides that I really don't know if there is one there. Here in Las Vegas, there are lots of Filipino restaurants and even fastfood like Jollibee, Chowking, Red Ribbon and even Goldilocks.

What's the result now???? I already gained weight. I am frustrated that I gained weight already but I love to cook and eat especially my native Filipino food. We also go sometimes to Asian restaurants like Chinese and Filipino.

I really want to update you with my escapades here but sometimes, well I guess all the time I am just so tired especially if we go out at night with my relatives here.

Bally's is one of the biggest casino hotel in Las Vegas. I was here three nights in a row watching my cousin performed. She is a singer/entertainer. We had fun dancing while the band of my cousin played here at Bally's. It has around 2,814 rooms.

A lot of people come here to play games in the casino. I also admired the lights they have here.

The entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas. We went last saturday night at Fremont street here in Vegas. There were a lot of people at the famous street in downtown Fremont. It seems like there was a feast like the October Feast in Germany.

Vegas Escapades

This is a pix taken last Friday as we went to the strip here in Las Vegas. The monument of Venuz in Caesars Palace. Las Vegas is really a fabulous city!!! but I guess, only the very hot weather in the summer time is not good...

No More MC Donald's-Very Bad Experience

I just want to share this very bad experience we had in MC Donalds last night here in Las Vegas. well to be specific that was past midnight, around dawn today already. I know that MC Donalds is a very reputable and trustful company around the world. You can find it everywhere. I know that it is a very good company.

This experience we had last night or this dawn time with my sister and bro-in-law was just very disappointing. I supposed and would like to say "NEVER AGAIN AT MC DONALDS". I also know how employees in mc donalds are trained to provide excellent and fast service to customers. But last night, I would say, it is a nightmare experience with mc donalds. really very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Well, I am just sharing this experience to burst-out and pour-out my feelings. I was just very disappointed and also my younger sister and brother in law. I believed sharing personal experiences is not bad especially if you are telling "THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH"

Last night, our car broke down and stopped somewhere in Lake Mead at Las Vegas Boulevard, near a gas station in front of terribles in mc donalds. They also have their the 24hour drive thru service.

I was very hungry while we were waiting for the assistance of my bro-in-laws friend to drive us home. At the same time, the service company who will tow the broke-down car. We decided to go to the 24 hour drive-thru Mc Donald to buy some food because we were really very hungry. Besides it is only some feet away.

While standing at the customer window, me and my sister said that we want some double cheese burgers. The lady said that she cannot sell us some burgers or anything because we don't have a car. I told the lady that our car broke down and it is not running anymore. I even told her that she can take a look at the car in front of Terrible Mc Donalds.

She said that she can't really sell us some burgers. She called her supervisor, I guess and the supervisor said the same.

Due to frustation and dissapointment, my hunger disappeared. The bad thing is that I am still having Migraine until right now which I believe to be the cause of the hunger, disappointment and frustration we had last night of this dawn time.

It was already around 2am as we arrived home this morning after a friend took us home.

MY POINTS ARE:

1. Where is the so called customer service at Mc Donald which is famous around the world for its excellent and fast service to their customers.
2. Is there a law or policy in MC Donald saying that you can't buy anything if you don't have a car in their drive thru service. In fact, we have a car which was broken down and just some feet away from the drive thru.
3. I am just really pouring out how I felt until now because I am just very disappointed and frustrated which I believed to be the cause of my Migraine until now while I am writing this post.
4. My very point is that, I hope that MC Donalds needs to train more their employees what really customer service is.

I will still continue this post soon because until now, I am already vomitting due to my bad Migraine..

Fabulous Las Vegas

After picking up my sister yesterday at her work place, we just did some errands and proceed to the strip in Las Vegas. That was already around 6pm. It is not dark at that time. Las Vegas is really a fabulous city, a fascinating one. I just admired the way it is being so developed.

A day or a night is not enough to tour around the strip. well, i guess someone need a year to totally explore this amazing city. Besides you really don't can go around during summer time in the day because it is so hot. That is the reason why people here usually go out during the night...

Yummy Lechon in Vegas!!

Yesterday was my bro-in-law's birthday party!! Some friends mostly Filipinos were the visitors. As usual party for Filipinos don't have much fun without karaoke!! Some of their friends really have fun especially the food!! hehehe...very yummy...see that pix below...the famous Filipino lechon..They ordered it on one of the Filipinos restaurant here..

I was just so tired yesterday, since I do all the cookings like menudo, adobo, chop suey, pancit canton, sotanghon, cassava cake, some sort of choco fudge cake and some more..

don't have good photos esp. for the food since i figured out today after downloading the pix that the flash of the camera was not on last night ...not a good thing..

the famous Filipino lechon...i guess lechon in Pinas still taste very better since it is cook with firewood...unlike here in vegas, it is done by big ovens!! still not so bad...i ate a lot yesterday!!!!hmmmmm...yummy!!! some of the left-overs were taken home by friends...i cooked some lechon paksiw today!!! yummy again!!

Sunrise in Munich

Last Saturday was my departure in Munich to Las Vegas...obviously as I am writing this post, I am in Las Vegas!!hahaha!! I had a pleasant trip and arrived in Las Vegas safely. It was tiring trip. Until now I am still adjusting their time here and I guess the weather!!!

Kallmunz Castle

One of the things I love in Germany are its castles especially in the state of Bavaria. You can even see the castle ruins in small towns like Kallmunz which is around 20 minutes drive from our home. These castles are always built up the hills.

We went up to this castle last time. If you see the ruins there , this castle is a big one.
