Quote of the Day
"The older we get the more we realize
that service to others is the only way to stay happy.
If we do nothing to benefit others,
we will do nothing to benefit ourselves."
I'm Getting a Peace Award!!
Peace: Freedom from quarrels and disagreement and of having a harmonious relations. Inner contentment and serenity.

No kidding aside, our country needs this award desperately. With all the things and crap that is happening in our country right now, achieving peace & serenity seems to an ambitious goal. For me, peace begins at home and of being at peace with one's self.
For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.

A Beautiful Sunday in Hohenfels, Germany
Since I already knew and adapted Germany's most culture and tradition, I already fell in love with it. The small village where I presently live now is a very interesting and natural one..I love nature and the setting in Hohenfels is just so lovely. It is a very clean, quite and peaceful place. The view around is just so priceless and wonderful.
As I went around walking today, I went to the Schlossberg. It is a castle ruin on top of a small Hill.The Schlossberg Turm (tower) is still well-maintained, as it is also one of the sightseeing here. When you are at the top of the hill, you can witness and see the beautiful scenery around the place. got some graffitis here for you!!
hope you enjoy the rest of the week!!! God bless us all!!
I was alone so I have to set the camera timer..got now a perfectly leaning pix..

Fruits are healthy
The term fruit has many different meanings depending on context. In botany, a fruit is the ripened ovary—together with seeds—of a flowering plant. In many species, the fruit incorporates the ripened ovary and the surrounding tissues. Fruits are the means by which flowering plants disseminate seeds.[1] In cuisine, when discussing fruit as food, the term usually refers to those plant fruits that are sweet and fleshy, examples of which include plums, apples and oranges. However, a great many common vegetables, as well as nuts and grains, are the fruit of that plant species.[2] No single terminology really fits the enormous variety that is found among plant fruits.[3] The cuisine terminology for fruits is inexact and will remain so. The term false fruit (pseudocarp, accessory fruit) is sometimes applied to a fruit like the fig (a multiple-accessory fruit; see below) or to a plant structure that resembles a fruit but is not derived from a flower or flowers. Some gymnosperms, such as yew, have fleshy arils that resemble fruits and some junipers have berry-like, fleshy cones. The term "fruit" has also been inaccurately applied to the seed-containing female cones of many conifers.[4]
With most fruits pollination is a vital part of fruit culture, and the lack of knowledge of pollinators and pollenizers can contribute to poor crops or poor quality crops. In a few species, the fruit may develop in the absence of pollination/fertilization, a process known as parthenocarpy.[5] Such fruits are seedless. A plant that does not produce fruit is known as acarpous, meaning "without fruit".[6]
